A prime example of custom craftsmanship.  Stinson to ALASKA MAGNUM Stinson!!!

This Stinson 108-3, was converted to an "ALASKA MAGNUM Stinson"!  Her original 165hp Franklin engine was replaced with the 230hp Continental 0-470, the fixed pitch propeller with a constant speed 88" McCauley, Micro AeroDynamics vortex generators were added and finally she was given the 35" Alaska BushWheels and "Baby-BushWheel" tail wheel.  This aircraft is flying today and impressing all those who witness her awesome performance on Alaska's most rugged strips and beaches.  Her initial takeoff roll from the dirt strip here at Lake Hood seaplane base was under 40 feet!  Very impressive.
